Our Projects

In addition to Gaziantep Digital Library, the following projects may be acheived for the sake of Gaziantep culture.

* A Culture Centre that would perform the functions such as gathering, protecting, exhibiting all written, audial and visual materials related with Gaziantep.
- Exhibition Unit
Unit in which the materials from all types be exhibited with biographies and photographs of their writers/owners/recorders nearby.
- Digital Library Unit
This unit is ready thanks to www.gaziantepkaynakcasi.com
- Presentation Unit
Unit in which the presentations about Gaziantep be performed, or in which people, especially the writers/owners/recorders of the materials related with Gaziantep mention about their workings about Gaziantep. That unit may be integrated to Exhibition Unit.

* Visual conversations with writers/owners/recorders of materials related with Gaziantep or with people who would share their memories about Gaziantep.

* Whenever an article or poem competition related with Gaziantep among elementary schools or trade unions be held, the awarded materials may be published in our Digital Library.

* Preparation of catalogs of static image records belonging to the local items which are gathered under the following headlines:
- All geographical figures in the boudaries of the province such as lowlands, highlands, rivers, walleys etc.
- Places or districts of where we or our memories still live (for ex: Kavaklık, Çıksorut, İncilipınar, Başpınar, Şehreküstü)
- Gaziantep nature (for ex: endemic plants, monument trees, locally known plants such as "keme", liquorice)
- Traditional behaviours where are exposed by citizens living in Gaziantep during particular events such as bayrams, weddings, "sahre", birth
- Gaziantep handicrafts (for ex: copper products, local embroidery motifs, "kutnu" types, rug motifs)
- Gaziantep folk dance wearings, dance types
- Our villages
- Gaziantep cuisine
- Gaziantep games which are sitll known by everyone, or which are forgotten in the course of time
- Gaziantep majors who are monuments of local culture and history
- Archaelogical structures (for ex: cairns, dolmens, caves)
- Religious buildings (moschees, tombs, churches etc.)
- Castles in the Gaziantep region
- Gaziantep museums
- Architectural buildings such as dams, bridges, "kastel"s
